March '68

In March ’68, director Krzysztof Lang delivers a gripping coming-of-age love story, blending romance, history, and the politics of that time. The film shines a light on the rarely told story of antisemitism in 1960s communist Poland. Told from the perspective of lovestruck students Hania and Janek, who start a whirlwind romance completely blind to the political uprising around them, the film reveals the true circumstances faced by so many during this often-overlooked time in history. It also features a great, jazzy score, top notch production values, and dynamic performances from its lead actors. (Adult content: sexual situations, violence)
